Versatile, technical and comfortable ski mountaineering backpack for demanding excursions. The HAUTE ROUTE has existed practically since the beginning of ski touring tours, a true classic.

Through the use of Cordura® polyamide yarn and PFC-free double-layer 420D Oxford polyamide, the HAUTE ROUTE 30 S is extremely abrasion resistant. Furthermore, the PU coating of all fabrics makes the material water-repellent. The load control straps and the ergonomic O-FLEX-2 back system with integrated S-stabilizer ensure an optimal fit, distributing the weight evenly between the hips and shoulders throughout the duration of the ride. The side bands are connected internally to the back system, enveloping completely in an ergonomic and comfortable way. The HAUTE ROUTE 30 S model has a shorter back system designed for people of smaller stature.

The high capacity of the Ortovox HAUTE ROUTE 30 S winter backpack allows you to carry all the necessary equipment with you. Plus, with convenient front and rear access to the spacious main compartment, your gear is always close at hand. The separate safety compartment also ensures quick access to emergency equipment. Thanks to the rope attachment on the backpack lid, the rope can be quickly attached and pulled out without having to open the lid. In addition to fastenings for ice screws, ice axes and poles as well as the helmet fastening net, flexible fastening devices are available, e.g. for snowboarding. The skis can be attached to the ski touring backpack in the classic way or diagonally.
