"The newcomer to the AVABAG family: the new CROSS RIDER 18 AVABAG was made for all powder enthusiasts who like to tackle a couple of extra meters vertically in order to find the best descent.

Thanks to its AVABAG airbag system, the CROSS RIDER 18 AVABAG is a lightweight avalanche backpack perfect for descents, but equipped with all the important features for days in the powder. Thanks to its snug shape and foam back it adapts perfectly to the shape of the body and ensures maximum freedom of movement even on the longest descents.

In the main compartment you always have quick access to your emergency equipment. Other small items can be safely stowed in the hip pocket. The aluminum clip and the safety loop on the leg ensure fit and safety on every descent. The CROSS RIDER 18 AVABAG is also perfectly equipped when it comes to transporting material: the skis can be attached diagonally to the avalanche airbag backpack with the D-Skifix system. It is also equipped with an ice ax and pole attachment and has a removable helmet net.

With its low weight and smart features the CROSS RIDER 18 AVABAG backpack is ready to tackle the most extreme curves!

AVABAG SYSTEM

The lightweight and incredibly compact airbag system weighs just 690 grams and is very compact. Another special feature of the AVABAG system is the training release: exercising without screwing the cartridge offers unlimited possibilities to prepare for emergency situations.
