Via the built-in heart rate sensor, or a compatible compatible heart rate monitor, fēnix 3 Sapphire HR provides data for a detailed analysis of your fitness. The VO2 max estimate processes data such as running speed, beats per minute, and heart rate variability to provide an estimate of the maximum volume of oxygen you can consume per minute. Based on an average of your rides, the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR can predict your race time by distance, as well as warn you of the recovery time you need before embarking on another workout.

Advanced racing dynamics

Pair the HRM-Run ™ belt with the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR for advanced analysis of running dynamics. Thanks to the accelerometer integrated in the heart rate monitor you will be able to analyze the vertical oscillation of the torso , the time of contact with the ground, the balance between right and left foot, the cadence and the length of the stride .

Dedicated Trail Profile

To meet the specific needs of trail runners, the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR provides features such as automatic switching for presentation of key data during a flat run and then uphill, and adds more relevant data during the ascent, such as split time, vertical speed and accumulation of climb traveled.

For Ultra Trail-loving athletes, fēnix 3 Sapphire HR provides superior battery life in UltraTrac mode and the option to use the watch with an external power source for the toughest challenges.

Get on your bike

fēnix 3 Sapphire HR is compatible with speed and cadence sensors to provide advanced training data for your cycling activities. It can also display power metrics when paired with a Vector ® sensor. If you train with your heart rate and a power sensor, fēnix 3 Sapphire HR can track your VO2 Max estimate for cycling activities and help you track changes in your fitness.

Plan trips and share adventures with friends and family using the free Garmin BaseCamp ™ planning tool on your computer.

ABC sensors

fēnix 3 Sapphire HR is equipped with a barometric altimeter and a 3-axis electronic compass. The device automatically calibrates these sensors using the GPS receiver to provide the most accurate information about your location possible. The barometer can be used to predict changes in weather by showing short-term trends in air pressure, while the compass indicates your direction whether you are moving or standing, horizontally or vertically.

Fitness band for a healthier lifestyle

Wear the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR daily and track your steps, distance traveled and calories burned over day 2 to maintain a healthy lifestyle even when you're not exercising. The motivational bar tells you when it's time to get up and take a walk, while at night, fēnix 3 Sapphire HR monitors your movements in your sleep and allows you to monitor the quality of your rest. Then download the data via your smartphone and the free Garmin Connect ™ Mobile app.

An app for your everyday life

Download the free Garmin Connect ™ Mobile app on your compatible smartphone 2 and pair it, via Bluetooth ® , to your fēnix 3. During the day it will automatically synchronize the workouts and activities recorded by the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR and you can configure your profile, zone cardio, the goals you want to achieve and participate in community challenges.

Smart Notification

fēnix 3, thanks to the integrated Bluetooth module, has the Smart Notification function. Whenever you receive a notification, text, call or email from the paired smartphone, the fēnix 3 Sapphire HR vibrates slightly and allows you to automatically view information on the watch display and read its contents.

Personalize fēnix 3 Sapphire HR with free downloads from our Connect IQ ™ store, you can download watchfaces made by our developer community, add campi data, and download free apps and widgets that provide information at a glance.
