The Tour Compression by Ortovox for women are graduated compression socks in Merino wool for longer mountaineering outings.
Their compressive effect complies with the European CEN standard and corresponds to compression class 1 (mild pressure, 15-21 mmHg).
The compressing effect on the ankle is greater than that exerted on the calf. This peculiarity promotes blood circulation, bringing blood rich in oxygen and poor in lactic acid to the heart. In this way arterial blood reaches the muscles and consequently the feeling of tiredness decreases considerably.
Their ergonomic shape, both on the right and on the left, ensures maximum fit, while the flat structure limits creases, without pressing on sensitive points. Thanks to the stabilization zone of the ankle and the elastic hem, the socks tendono will not slip. The flat seam on the toes prevents blisters and the padding on the heel and toes has a cushioning effect. The 360 degree mesh makes the socks particularly breathable.
