The Grivel Magic Ring is an innovative solution for an ultralight Prusik without carabiner. An easy to use and always ready tool.

Satisfying the need to simplify mountaineering material, this special ring is made with a 5mm aramid rope (with double sock to increase durability) and a forged aluminum plate. Ideal for creating a self-locking knot such as a Prusik and thus increasing safety while lowering or walking in preserves.

One end of the ring is designed to be hooked onto the harness in a wolf's mouth. The other end wraps around the string in a Prusik way, and closes on the metal plate. No carabiners or harness adjustments are required. If necessary, it can also be used as a ring.
