The Tech Machine is a technical ice ax by Grivel designed primarily for ice climbing and dry-tooling.
The 2020 version adopts the new Vario System blades and accessories system.
Its shape allows stable hooks both on ice and rock.
The radically angled handle easily overcomes swellings and "cauliflowers" and allows safe positioning even in the most uneven ice.
The Tech Machine can mount all Vario System blades and accessories and is sold in two versions:
- Total Ice Simple Vario: mounts the Total ICE blade, laser cut and exclusively for ice climbing, B approval, weight 96gr. Mount the Simple accessory.
- Ice Simple Vario: mounts the ICE blade, hot forged for technical mountaineering and ice climbing, T-approved, weight 116gr. Mount the Simple accessory.
