Edelrid - Salathe Lite, ultralight mountaineering helmet

The Salathe Lite helmet by Edelrid is even lighter, its weight has been reduced by 20%. This weight reduction obtained by replacing the classic ABS shell with Curv®, the latest generation of a very high performance thermoplastic material. It has similar properties to fiber-reinforced composites such as carbon: good stiffness, high tensile strength and exceptional impact resistance, all with a very low weight.
