Wild Country - Mosquito super light sport climbing harness
The Mosquito is the lightest harness ever made by Wild Country. Designed specifically for sport climbing, its precise fit guarantees ultralight comfort, agility and freedom of movement.
The advanced, lightweight, laminated waistbelt construction features an internal load-bearing fabric that distributes load evenly across the entire harness structure, combined with super-light mesh padding and a sturdy, quick-drying, abrasion-resistant cover with seamless edges, very smooth and soft in contact with the skin.
The harness is specifically designed to ensure maximum freedom of movement. Its agile and essential structure adapts to your body to guarantee maximum flexibility without impediments. An important distinctive safety feature of this harness is the safety indicator, the wear indicator affixed to the reinforced lower binding point, a feature used by Wild Country since the 1990s. In order to clearly indicate when to replace the harness, the article has red threads that become visible only after excessive wear and abrasion.
Mosquito is equipped with lightweight gear loops, two rigid fronts and two softer backs, to avoid pressure points when climbing with a backpack. All gear loops are specifically designed to hold equipment and move away from the harness for easier retrieval. The harness also has a large rear carrying hook which can also act as a hooking point for the chalk bag.
Featuring a self-locking aluminum buckle with sliding lock on the belt to ensure a secure and comfortable fit, this harness features lightweight leg loops supported by stretch struts. Mosquito is foldable, space-saving and comes in an elegant two-tone black and white design with the classic Wild Country mandarin buckle.
