The Ascent by CAMP is a 10 point steel crampon. Its minimalist design allows for a considerable weight reduction without interfering with performance. The compact structure of the Ascent is in fact particularly rigid, with aggressive tips that guarantee considerable traction and great stability.
Versatility is ensured by the total interchangeability of the lacing systems: it is in fact possible to switch from automatic to semi-automatic lacing by replacing the front headband with the cap included in the package and possibly to universal lacing by replacing the standard heel unit with the specific one available separately. The rod with double row of holes allows a precise and fast adjustment of the length, covering an extremely wide range. The perfect fit is guaranteed by the multiple adjustments: the front arch and the heel on 2 positions and the rear lever on 3 positions. The active action antibott prevents the accumulation of snow between the tips.
