FLIPFUEL® Fuel Transfer Device is a valve used to transfer gas from one gas cylinder to another to optimize the use of the cylinders.
Flipfuel uses the temperature difference between two cylinders to allow fuel to pass from one to the other.
It is compatible with most isobutane cylinders, such as those from Jetboil, MSR , Snow Peak and others.
How does it work?
STEP 1
Place the cylinder from which you want to remove the fuel in the sun or near a heat source (taking due precautions not to let it get too hot or place it near an open flame). Place the other canister (the one you want to add fuel to) in the freezer or in a cool, shaded area
STEP 2
Wait 5 to 10 minutes. In this way the fuel cans create a temperature differential which facilitates the transfer.
STEP 3
Connect the cylinders.
STEP 4
Open the transfer valve. Once the fuel transfer is complete, close the valve and detach the isobutane cylinders.
