Since 1818 and throughout its long history, Grivel has produced carabiners. We now introduce a completely new line: modern and ultra-light. The Grivel carabiners are made using 7000 aluminum. We had already experimented with this noble metal to manufacture ice ax handles and we can say that this material offers the best ratio between weight, strength and durability. The Grivel carabiners are manufactured using the same technology that we use for ice axes. Each carabiner is individually tested and has its serial number engraved.
