Its main applications are as follows: self-locking belay for one or two seconds of roping; abseiling.
The special central rib acts as a fulcrum on the connector and allows two people to be recovered, also secured to ropes of different diameters, both simultaneously and separately because in the event of a fall only the rope subjected to tearing locks, leaving the other free to slide.
